Early Beginnings in Event Organization
My passion for event organization started in my teenage years through amateur radio competitions. Learning from veteran organizers—some with decades of experience—taught me the essentials of planning, logistics, and execution, laying a strong foundation for my future career.
University Years: Student & Nightlife Events
During my university days, I organized countless parties in student dorms and nightclubs. Handling everything from music selection to crowd management and venue logistics, I honed my skills in creating unforgettable experiences—preparing me for larger roles in the entertainment industry.

Music Manager at "King" Nightclub
As the music manager for Strumica’s iconic "King" Nightclub, I was responsible for booking performers and coordinating entertainment programs. With over 2,000 visitors every Friday and Saturday and collaborations with restaurants hosting 400+ guests, I ensured seamless, high-energy events that kept the city buzzing.

New Year’s Eve 1993 – A Historic Celebration
At the mayor’s request, I organized Strumica’s 1993 New Year’s Eve celebration—a groundbreaking event combining live performances with a live radio broadcast (a first for private media in Macedonia). Over 7,000 people packed the city square, ringing in the new year in spectacular fashion.

Mega Concert – April 1994
One of my biggest challenges was organizing Strumica’s largest indoor concert in April 1994. Held at the city’s sports hall, the event featured 20+ artists and bands, drawing a crowd of 4,000+ attendees—a testament to my ability to manage large-scale productions.
Marathons On The Air

In the early 1990s, with the rise of Macedonia’s first private radio stations, bold new ideas emerged—concepts that state-run media had never dared to try.
At Radio Club FM, the first station we launched, I organized the country’s first-ever multi op 12-hour radio marathon. It was a completely new format, packed with interactive prize games and non-stop entertainment. The event was powered by two technicians and four hosts, setting a new standard in macedonian radio broadcasting.
The following year, in 1993, we launched "Love FM" with an even bigger challenge—a 54-hour radio marathon featuring four technicians and seven hosts. The program was an instant sensation, achieving near-total listenership from the very first minute. "Love FM" immediately became the most-listened-to station in a area of 140,000 people.
Few months later, I pushed the boundaries further by organizing a 72-hour marathon involving eight technicians and more than 20 hosts. The entire town stayed awake for days—students brought radios to school, and every café, restaurant, and store tuned in exclusively. One of the most impressive stats: 2,160 live call-ins from listeners over three days.
Finally, in 1995, I co-organized the first radio marathon at "Time FM", marking my final chapter in this groundbreaking series of radio events.

24 Hours Radio Show
In 1993, I introduced another radio first—a 24-hour solo hangout, where I served as both host and organizer, supported by a single technician. The rules were strict:
Only one host and one technician for the full 24 hours
The host had to speak at least once every 10 minutes
This format had only been attempted once before globally—by a well-known Macedonian entertainer Igor Dzambazov who set a Guinness World Record.
Prize Games

The Concert That Never Happened & A Record - Breaking Giveaway
In April 1995, as co-owner of Radio Kalipso, I spearheaded what was set to become the largest radio prize giveaway in Macedonian history—with a humanitarian mission at its core. The goal? To fund life-saving medical treatment abroad for two critically ill patients, requiring tens of thousands of German marks.
The campaign rallied over 100 of Macedonia’s biggest companies as sponsors. The prizes were unprecedented: 3,000 Deutsche Marks (10 months average salary) in cash and seven tons of premium white marble. The grand finale? A massive concert in the city’s sports arena, where winners would be celebrated in front of thousands.
Everything was in place—until, just before ticket sales launched, the Ministry of Finance blocked the event. Without official authorization, we risked a forced shutdown by tax authorities and even potential criminal charges. Despite overwhelming public support and momentum, we had no choice but to cancel. The concert never happened.

Daewoo Racer Giveaway
Later that year, in November 1995, we bounced back with another ambitious giveaway—this time, with a brand-new Daewoo Racer as the star prize. At the time, it was one of the most practical and coveted cars for everyday people.
The live draw took place at "Cactus", then considered the most stunning nightclub in the Balkans. Over 2,500 people packed the venue, transforming the event into an electrifying celebration of music, hope, and community spirit. This time, nothing stood in our way—we made history without a hitch.

Team Opportunities & Side Income
During my time managing Love FM, I didn’t just lead a team—I created opportunities. Around twenty employees and freelancers got hands-on experience organizing events at nightclubs, bars, restaurants, and cafés across the city. For many, this wasn’t just a side hustle—it was their first step into the world of entertainment and promotion, earning extra income while building skills that lasted long after the parties ended.
The photo captures one of those moments—me at Select, Strumica’s hottest nightlife spot at the time. Fun fact: The venue’s longtime resident DJ. One of my earliest students, who launched his career through this exact initiative.
International HST Championships
2015 – Organizing a Record-Breaking Global Event
In 2015, I had the privilege of being part of a small but dedicated team that organized the 12th IARU World High-Speed Telegraphy (HST) Championship in Ohrid, Macedonia. This edition made history:
✔ Record-breaking international participation – more countries than ever before
✔ Multiple world records set by competing operators
✔ Highest number of participants in the championship's history
✔ Groundbreaking innovations introduced for the first time
Hosting this prestigious event in Ohrid — the jewel of Macedonia — was both an honor and a powerful example of what a focused and passionate team can accomplish. The championship set new benchmarks that continue to shape HST competitions worldwide.

Z38CE - 20 Years Macedonia in Council of Europe
On the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the country becoming a member of the Council of Europe on 9 November 1995, the CERAC, in cooperation with the Amateur Radio Operators of Macedonia, celebrated this event with a joint transmission from 7 to 13 November 2015, using the special call sign Z38CE.
To mark this milestone in a truly impactful way, we established a dedicated amateur radio farm near Gevgelija — a field equipped with antennas and devices, designed specifically to maximize the number of global radio contacts. It was a unique setup built for high performance, with the goal of reaching as many amateur radio operators around the world as possible.
In addition to the Council of Europe radio amateurs, around 15 radio amateurs from Macedonia actively participated in the event. The spirit of collaboration, technical excellence, and international connection made it a celebration to remember.
2017 – A Championships to Remember
If I ever truly enjoyed organizing a championship, it was in 2017—when I was part of a very small team behind the 10th "Cup of Europe" and the 5th "Balkan HST Championship."
A total of 270 medals, 650 awards (certificates) and 6 trophies were given to the competitors in various categories. The two new world records were achieved:
While the event saw new records set and high-level competition, what stood out the most was the spirit of friendship. The camaraderie among participants, teams, and organizers was at the highest possible level, creating an atmosphere that went far beyond medals and results.
It was more than a championship—it was a celebration of connection, passion, and shared values.
